I use hooks like this often when I fish freshwater. These hooks are sharp, not as sharp as the brand I usually use, but I have no doubt they will get the job done. There was a defect in one of the hooks. You can see in the pic that the weight is deformed and a piece fell off. The hook is definitely useable, but it was easy to spot and should not have been in the package.

Plan to use these for my plastic baits. I like having the weight off the front end like a texas rig. This adds a more realistic action when dropping the weight down to the bottom. These hooks are a good size, I think they're 2/0. Nice addition to my plastic bait terminal tackle.
