I Never realized how much of a difference having a sun shade on the helmet makes. I was watching a Youtube video and a fella mentioned having the flap over the back to block out light and man, does it make things way easier to see on a sunny day doing projects in the yard. This clipped well on my Hobart mask, very happy.

I do a lot of overhead welding cause the other guys always have a complaint about something hurting so I end up doing most of the overhead. I use to wrap my head to keep the sparks from burning it with a head wrap, with a wrap my helmet tends to slide around and doesn’t feel secure. I got this and now my helmet feels more secure plus it covers my neck as well. It adds a bit more weight but I guess I have to get use to it. So far so good. Time will tell

While not a perfectly contoured shape, this fits my Vulcan helmet fairly well. It's a universal product, it's not going fit every helmet exactly. Definitely nice to have the light blocked from behind my helmet. I'll probably stitch the sides together to close the gap and block more light. 5 stars for a nice product and a good price.

In the past I've fought the reflection in my hood lens from the light behind me. I've tried old towels draped from the back of my hood to try and block the light, but they are awkward and don't always stay in place.This looked like a good solution. This rear cover easily fastens to the edge of the hood by firmly seating the "press fit seal" into the rear edge of the hood. Make sure you pressed it in fully. It seems plenty secure if all the seal had fully enveloped the edge of the hood. I have much less reflection now. There is some reflection from around the lower corners of the cover. But this is much improved from before. I like the design of their fastening system. Does the job!

Absolutely worth the money!! Should have purchased this YEARS back. Effective at holding onto rear brim, think and dark material and keep not just arc flashing down completely, if your sun in against your back, you will absolutely keep it out of your helmet!

The big reason to get this is that it can allow you to still see through your screen even when the sun is at your back. But a secondary reason is because it diverts sparks and slag from your head, which means you don't have to wear a cap or bandana, allowing you to be a little cooler.
