These temperature regulated soldering iron tips will last many years when used with rosin core solder. I still am using 10 year old tips with my 100 Watt Weller temperature regulated 700 degree F soldering iron.But, these are a little pricey compared to other suppliers. But with Amazon prime I get free shipping, so that averages out.

This tip is used in various NON-warible temp Weller soldering stations such as the W100p. Takes a few minutes to heat up but one there you an solder ground leads toll to chassis or for doing alrtwork
