Excellent medium duty tall light stand. Stainless steel very good quality. I’m used to paying twice as much for a light staying like this. It’s spring cushions to help you avoid expensive mistakes and very sturdy. The base is not oversized however so you might want to use sandbags if you’re using a heavy light. I do want to note that it does include the swivel stand that is in some of the pictures so that’s another $20 right there. That one is made of a polymer but still decent quality. It does not come with the case which is my only disappointment but at this price I am still pretty happy. I’m a little OCD about keeping my light stands in a case so one will run you about $25-$35 for something that size. I would much rather pay $10 more for them to include one which is generally what it would cost them. But otherwise it’s a really good medium duty light stand. Be aware because of that stainless steel you’re going to get some reflections. If that is a concern then you need to go and get one that is black powder coated.

Adjusting the height of this tripod stand is effortless, thanks to the built-in buffer springs that ensure a smooth and controlled drop when altering its height. This feature not only protects your equipment from sudden impacts but also provides extra safety and stability, making it ideal for professional shoots. With its dual screw mounts and 3-way mounting interface, it provides exceptional flexibility in mounting cameras, lights, or other accessories. Additionally, the collapsible design makes it easy to store and transport. Highly recommended!

Good value stand for lighting your photo/video studio. Has all the adapters you need to get rolling with your LED lighting and has given me no trouble on sturdiness. However it is worth noting that the thin scissor-like arms on the legs are razor sharp. They have cut marks into some of my wires by just hanging freely against them and do pose a risk to body parts. Obviously you wouldn't want small kids near this equipment, but having sharp exposed points like these is potentially dangerous.
