I bought four of these to redo our old can lighting in our kitchen. The first picture is of the ‘before’, and the others are of the ‘after’. As others have stated, the screws to hold the mounting bracket provided are, in no possible universe, self-piercing. I marked where I needed to place the screws, and used a drill bit to make the holes. Took me a bit of time to do the first one, but Westinghouse has a step-by-step guide on YouTube that is excellent, so I recommend watching that for help. The instruction provided aren’t the most specific, but the video is very helpful. We love the result!! So much better than the old, dingy, dirty can lights! If I can install them, anyone can.

These were super easy to install. The instructions were very thorough. I painted them black to match my fixtures and they worked perfectly.

My contractor told me it would be difficult to change my recessed lights to the pendant lights I wanted but I researched online and saw these. My contractor was surprised at how easy it was to install and my pendant lights look great. He said he learned something new and will use these again if needed.

Super easy to install. I used with track lighting and the cover for the hole that was provided didn't work so I had to use the old covers from the recessed lighting and glue into place
