I’ve bought this light kit twice now and this will be my last time. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first time the product was missing one of the white screws for the base but after my second purchase it is now missing caps for the wire connection and it doesn’t even come with screws for easy installation. There are several other brands that are cheaper and come with a full kit. Just be wary of the product specifications and be prepared to be missing something from your kit (annoying to have to find a replacement at the hardware store). I’ll be trying another brand in the future.

I used this pendant for an old shop light I had instead of it's intended use and it worked well. It was well adaptable having screwable fittings on each end, which could be screwed into a pipe plug on the light. I was impressed that it would easily hold the weight of the light by the cord with the fittings on the cable ends. I was very happy with everything.

The product itself is actually really great for the price, but it was just slightly too big for the lamp shade we bought. The socket didn't fit through the ring in the lamp shade, which I thought was odd. I was able to disassemble the socket into two parts and fit it through the lamp shade ring that way. Ceiling installation was a pain, but not because of the product — because the canopy cover was slightly too small to replace the hole from the fan we removed and I'm not the most experienced electrician. Overall I'd say great quality for the price, just make sure it will fit in your lamp shade!

I purchased a pendant light for my girls room in Ikea. When I opened the box, I realized that there is no connection for hanging it on the ceiling, it had a wire with a regular plug for an outlet. I really liked the light and I wasn't gonna make the 40 min drive to Ikea again to return it. So I ordered this Westinghouse lighting kit and my husband cut it to the right length and he cut the wire or the light also, he connected it and now it's finally hanging with pride in my adorable pink girls room!

This is a great lighting fixture! I bought the white-finish, single-light, mini pendant kit. The cord was a bit too long, but an easy and welcome fix! The kit was extremely easy to install (even for beginners) and the color is true to the description. Be aware that unless you have recently painted your home or you live in a brand new home, this white will appear whiter than your ceiling. This was not an issue for us because I am not that concerned with someone looking up to compare the pendant base with my ceiling. Lastly, at $14.98, this was cheaper than anything I found anywhere else online (even home depot) which makes it a very likely choice if I ever need another pendant light (which is very likely).

This was super easy to adjust the length of and install. I liked that it comes with a long cord, so you can get it in your house and then look at it and decide how long you want it to be ultimately. If you shorten it (we did) you do have to strip new sections of wire... but if you're not comfortable doing this, you should probably hire an electrician to do the whole job. As it was I installed it myself in just a few minutes, and it looks wonderful. In the picture I used it with this lampshade: .

Much nicer than other available options. Easy to install, and adjust if necessary. The cord pulls up into the base and has a set screw to hold it where you want. You can even leave a good amount of slack coiled up in the base if you don't want to cut it off. White painted/coated nuts are a nice finishing touch. Worked well with our IKEA Nymo pendant shades.
