The Westinghouse blanket is the only heated blanket I will ever purchase. The customer service is top notch... they are super responsive, friendly, helpful and very much appreciated! The blanket itself is amazing. I love it; my husband is obsessed (and my dog loves it too). It heats throughout and has a foot pocket. It is durable, soft and cozy; very well made. I highly recommend Westinghouse blankets. You have a customer for life!

Ordered this after knee replacement because I wasn't warm enough with 3 thick blankets during our cold January. I now use just this blanket day and night during my recovery, which is so much lighter and more comfortable, not to mention warm! It's been key to my comfort during recovery and absolutely love the softness, warmth, foot pockets (!) and ease of use. I recommend this to everyone who wants to treat themselves!

Best electric blanket I've ever had in my 68 years young!! This throw electric blanket is perfect size not too big or small for me. I use it on the couch and on my bed. Love how I can use the foot pockets when needed watching TV. Very beautiful soft material and it drapes nicely around me. Not too thin but can barely, if not at all, feel the wires in it. Blanket is very classy looking. Tho my eyes were really rolling on paying $80.00 for it, which is at least double what I've ever paid. But it's worth it. I read comments on a lot of other brands and they had a lot of issues with them so I decided on this brand. I will sure baby it by following the washing instructions because I certainly don't want to ruin it. Also very sturdy, easy to work and read, heating control unit. It heats up fast and turns off as timed. Only complaint I have is the tag is sewed on the top of it. But over all, I'm very impressed with this throw blanket and I would buy one again. I recommend it!!

Very warm without turning on the heat. Very comfortable. Cold feet were a problem with other blankets but this has a pouch to put your feet in making my feet warm and toasty! Turn the blanket on for extra warmth and decide if you want it to turn off in a few hours up to 10 hours. What’s not to love? I’m a Sr. Citizen and the Sherpa lining is fantastic! What are you wanting for? Buy one…or two.

The Westinghouse Electric Throw Blanket with Foot Pocket has been a blessing for my husband, who do to illness, has a terrible time staying warm, especially in his feet. The foot pockets are a game-changer for anyone with chronically cold feet. The blanket is beautiful and very well made, and still looks good after six months of constant use, so I don't mind having visible at all times in our family room. It is two-sided with a warm sherpa inside, which has had no shedding issues, and very soft, grey top fabric. We love the heat level options and the auto shut off safety feature. It has turned out to be one of our favorite purchases--ever. We had a problem with the product cord, but the company was responsive and took care of the issue to our great satisfaction.

UPDATE:The blanket controller failed within a week of use. It was never even washed. The controller showed the dreaded "E" symbol no matter how many times it was reset. The seller quickly processed an exchange and the new one has worked for two weeks so far. Subtracting one star for the original failed blanket.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The foot pocket makes this a unique heated blanket, it's also a good size. The selectable timed auto off feature and six heating levels are nice, as well.My wife liked it enough that we bought a second one in a different color. The controls on other brands of heated throws haven't lasted more than a year or two for us in the past. We'll see how long this one lasts and I'll update this review if or when it fails.

I bought this for my mom, who lives in frigid Montana. She is 83 years old and always piling blankets on her to stay warm as she sits in her recliner during the day. I surprised her with this for her birthday and she was elated. She really loves the footpockets and that it has so many different settings. I bought her tge light pink one. It is extremely warm and does its job very well. There was no smell to it, the color was beautiful. She felt very pampered by this. She loves that you can just slip your feet in the foot pockets and they are toasty warm. Everything about this throw is great. It is so very well worth the money. I especially love that if you forget to turn it off, it shuts off on its own. This is a great gift and must have.
