This easy to replace 90A fuse mounted directly to the starter are fixed my no start problem on Mercruiser 3.0/

When my starter started acting up...I had it rebuilt instead of replaced with a cheaply made replacement (it was half the price of a new one)...the mechanic noted & showed me the insides of the starter, rust out the wahzoo...being a 2nd/3rd owner of this boat it was apparent the starter was submerged at some point..with some researching, I came across a schematic diagram & noticed this surge protection was missing...trust me, make sure you have one of these or something of similarity in place...battery(ies) explosions are not a nice thing

This is a decent replacement, while it hasn't had any issues, it feels of less quality than the original that I replaced.
