I gave this two stars because it was straight, and the correct length. However, it was not 10m x 1 diameter and thread pitch. I returned it.

I bought this because I thought it was CHROME-ALLOY steel for a an inexpensive price. This axle is definitely NOT CRMO.CRMO is hardened steel-alloy metal. This bends like a flimsy cheap china crap that it actually is.It would have been worth the 12$ if this company did take WEEKS to ship and deliver it. none of it ahs been worth my time or money.Do not buy this for ANY adult riding, nor for kids who ActUaLLy ride on a regular bases on the trails.

I bought this because my 9mm QR axle broke, and it's replacement bent after a few weeks. My forks allowed for axles up to 10mm. This part came with bearing cones, which is great because the old 9mm ones would not fit. They don't exactly match what was on my bike - the original ones had a dust cover attached to the cone so these bearings are more exposed to the elements - but it works and hasn't bent yet after a month or so and 400 miles of mostly road riding. If this bends I'll try putting the 10mm hardware from this on a solid 10mm axle. I originally wanted to go straight to a solid 10mm axle, but this was so inexpensive it was worth it just for the bearing cones and nuts.

It worked to replace my broken bicycle axle. The nuts and spacer were different sizes compared to my broken axle, but with minor adjustments, I was able to get it to fit properly. I've been riding on it since the date of purchase (2-4 months) with no problems. Note, I'm a bicycle commuter and tend to carry groceries on the back rack (10-25lbs).

Good product, dimensions were right on and it seems strong. Threads were well cut and worked perfectly in my bike.

Accommodated my existing quick-release hardware. Worked splendidly to repair my old Schwinn 18-speed bike... which has a six-gear freewheel (also replaced). The old axle... also hollow... broke in the middle.

It is cheap and an exact fit for a Giant road bike we have. However this is the second one I've purchased. The first one bent and now the hub races are damaged.

I bought this to replace a bent axle on my front bicycle wheel. It looks sturdy and well made, fit with no problems and works as expected. The only thing i did not like about this axle was the nuts used to secute the wheel to the fork. They were a bit too thin for my liking and have no end cap. I ended up using my old ones.
