Lesson Learned, do not buy this part expecting it to fit the existing hinge, it is different. Buy the hinge and pin together, you'll be happy.

Perfect replacement for the hinge pin on my Maytag washing machine (P/N: WP35-2045) for half the price from Maytag official parts store. Tip: this seems to be the same part for several brands of washing machines: Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Admiral, etc. They all seem to have the same set of numbers within the P/N: 35-2045.Definitely replace these in pairs because if one of these plastic hinge pin fails, the other isn’t gonna be far behind.My next washing machine is definitely not going to have plastic hinge pins if I can help it but thanks to these replacements, I can probably get a few more years out of my washer before another important plastic part breaks on it.

After having a hinge break on my chefmate washer I purchased two of these and two of the mating hing pieces. After watching a YouTube video it took me about 10 minuets to replace both hinges.

I should have ordered 2.When I got there ,I discovered the other side was cracked too on my dad's washer.I wanted to order it on line , but he wanted to fix it while I was there. It took an hour to find a place on line that had it locally, another hour to get it , and $10 in gas, and the price was more then double then I paid on line. Next time I will always to order in pairs if one side is broken, or I would just pay more for express shipping then to try and get it locally.After all that I didn't think it was going to work . The part looked to be better made then the old one of the same number and it seamed too fit tight in the old hing. When I put it together it worked perfect. Easy to follow install instructions on Youtube. I was very happy with your product.
