I will not recommend this supplier at this time. The item was exactly what I ordered. The item did not work properly. I contacted customer support. This was a waste of my time, in my opinion. I wound up returning the whole part, when all that was needed was a different igniter. I purchased another item from another vendor, and it worked perfectly. Same Whirlpool part, same packaging.

Purchased this as a replacement for the center large burner on our Jenn-Air cooktop. The igniter was included. If your original screws are rusted be prepared to drill and tap new threads. Both of the original screws snapped when attempting to replace this part, not being able to get the rest of the screw thread out with all my normal tricks I cut it flush with a rotary tool and drilled and tapped new threads. The OEM threads are #7-18, I purchased two stainless 10-24 hex head screws from Ace Hardware, they hold much better and should last much longer. Also this part requires a gasket for my application that gasket was part #74010652

This fit perfectly into the center burner of a JennAir cooktop. The unit includes the igniter which made replacing the old one very simple. Removing the old unit took the most time as the two torx screws were rusted out and required a ratchet with some WD40. Afterwards, just unplugged the igniter from the old one and into the new one.
