Step stool lasted less than 8 months. It is supposed to be able to hold up to 200 pounds and yet it broke under the weight of my eight year-old daughter. Luckily I was standing next to her to catch her when she fell. Very disappointed in this item.

I am so pleasantly surprised with this product. Got this product to primarily sit while doing yard work. Its foldable to be stored in small places, lightweight but sturdy, and can be used for different purposes. Its plastic and ergo easy to clean (after all the dirt it can get from the yard). Durability and sturdiness of this product makes me feel like it will last long, and I am glad for it.

I bought to use as an outdoor foot stool. They're a little flimsy under my feet.

I got these stools for our upstairs and our kitchen. I needed something that was foldable and easy to store but also easy to open and sturdy. I think the size is good for this type of stool - a good height for kitchen and bathroom and enough surface area to feel comfortable standing on. While this does feel pretty sturdy, it does startle me when the plastic clicks into place or snaps a little farther than it should. We are all within the weight limit for this product, so I was surprised by this. At this point I think I expect it and adjust accordingly if needed. The feet on these stools are just the same plastic as the rest of the stool, and I feel like a stool like this needs to have some Rubber feet or something to help keep it from sliding while you are standing on it. It does slip on our floors as we have a wood linoleum, so I’m extra careful to step directly down into these stools. Carpet and rubs or kitchen floor mats are fine, just when it’s on a hard, slick surface is where my concern lies.Overall, these are great to have around, I just wish they were a little more sturdy and didn’t slip around on hard flooring.

I gave it a second chance but it collapsed worse the 2nd time when I was sitting on it. I weigh 125 lbs. I smashed my finger on one hand trying to catch myself. I'm lucky I didn't hit my tailbone. It is very poorly designed. Just a small plastic rod inserts into a round piece that isn't entirely enclosed. It makes it easy to fold but not secure for holding weight. I didn't purchase it for it's decorative value. Sept 15 was my closing date to return it.
