Flawless cutting. Please allow me to share just how accurate this flush trim bit is. After the small frame was built, painted and the back was stapled on, I decided to flush up the back. Oh, this bit flushed it up, all right. Took off the paint on the side WITHOUT TOUCHING THE SIDE. That's got to be accuracy down to a thousandth of an inch. My collection of router bits is slowly filling with Whiteside, and only Whiteside. Do, Do, Dooo recommend.

First time buying whiteside bits and let me tell you they’re garbage used it only 3 times to trim birch and mdf and it didn’t cut clean also the bit got burnt not satisfied with it I used cheaper bits in the past and did a better job.

Top quality, clean-cutting, stays sharp. I’ve used several brands of router bits. Whiteside checks all boxes: 1) Heavy duty (as in 1950’s meaning of heavy duty), 2) stays sharp, 3) decent, albeit slightly premium, pricing, and 4) I am keeping American people who live 35 miles from me employed. This is a US company, folks!

Nice cut but bearing was not tight out of the box. It came off during use and gouged my work piece which I then had to patch. Packaging mentions bearing may not be tight. Who reads the packaging on a simple router bit? Would it be asking too much for it to be tight from the manufacturer?

It's easy to get a little hot under the collet when you overenthusiastically rout hardwood and the paint on your shaft starts to melt. You may still lose your bearings in the heat of the moment, but at least you won't have to scrape a hot sticky mess off the carbide tips. I'm done with companies that insist on branding their products with colored paint. After a year of use, I still have a table saw blade that occasionally leaves a streak of red on certain lumber.

Fantastic bit! The fact that it has three ultrasharp flutes allowed it to join several edges of hard rock maple perfectly, unlike the Bosch bit I initially used. The Bosch dulled quickly and started tearing chunks out of one of the boards. Bought this Whiteside, and the difference was night and day. The Whiteside bit is far superior to the Bosch laminate bits!

I've always liked Whiteside bits, this one is no exception. I used this to trim oak veneer. Very clean cuts.

Worked great. My first whitside but. Very clean and smooth cutting. Will be buying more whitside bits in future as needed.
