I was expecting gel but it was the same consistency as water. Did not stick to anything and the cover was broke on arrival.

Buck came within 10 minutes of putting this on a few trees around my stand this morning. Also grabs does attention and makes them territorial. Recommend using with the tarsal gland gel

Product smells like I'd expect. Doesn't have the perfume smell you get from the synthetic options. It was packaged well by Amazon but the lid code blue choose to use so seal properly and the bottle was leaking inside of its packaging. I would buy it again but code blue should be using the the same style of lid they use on their other products.

The stuff is real gooey can wipe it on tree but one of the applicators was broken on mine I ordered one and they sent me four no extra charge so I love them

I know it claims that it's a estrous gel but I've noticed when I put it out when doe's enter the place I'm hunting I've noticed a few of them and put there nose to the air and spell it and they seem to calm down.

I was feeling optimistic and ordered two bottles. Unfortunately both had leaked when I got them. One bottle was not too bad; only a quarter of the bottle had leaked out. The other bottle was almost empty with dried gel crystals all over the inside of the package. I'm hoping the gel that I have left is not usable but it smells spoiled to me.

I always use this gel , it sticks around longer than regular urine and is less of a mess to apply.

The only good thing I can honestly say about this product is the bottle of Code Blue Doe Estrous Gel did not spook the bucks & does that walked by the licking branch located over an active scrape that the code blue estrous doe lure was placed onto. Along with not spooking as the deer stepped over / across the drag line scent trail I set using the Code Blue estrous doe lure. Unfortunately none of the deer reacted too the Code Blue Doe Estrous Gel lure. Nor did any of the deer pay any attention to the Code Blue Doe Estrous Gel drag line trail. Given the time period of the rutting season this product was being used & the direction the wind was blowing, from the licking branch & the rag line trail directly towards more than one buck & doe.One would expect there to be some sort of a reaction by the deer to smelling the Code Blue Doe Estrous Gel lure, The Code Blue Doe Gel Estrous lure was being used during the last week of October & the first few days in November here in western Pennsylvania. One would think a better than average quality deer lure & a high priced deer lure such as the Code Blue Doe Estrous Gel would work equally as well as all of the other Code Blue deer lures that we have exclusively used in previous years with good results. The only reasons this product is getting 3 stars instead of 1 star is it did not spook the deer & over the past several years we have had good results when we used the other Code Blue Deer lures.In peace,Joe & Carolyn
