But, you have to figure out how to stop it from moving, otherwise the bottom moves forward and show dominos starts... Then 3/4 of your shoes are on the floor. Very frustrating!!!! Come on manufacturer, you have to know this and have a solution for all of us, your customer!

This is a great option for those with limited space. We needed something to mount on a door that wasn't going to damage it as we're in a rental. Very easy to put together, and slip over the top of the door. A main complaint is that it will separate from the door, and shoes will fall through if not attached/fastened/screwed at the bottom. I remedied this by attaching heavy duty 3M adhesive strips to the contact points. It has been up in our closet for about 3 months with shoes from myself, two kids and husband and we have not had any trouble.Great product but get yourself some double sided tape!

It's so great to see all our shoes stored in a spot that would be otherwise not be used for anything. The assembly was a breeze, and tool-less, and we had all our shoes on it in less than 10 minutes.I'll update the review if any issues appear with it but for now it seems quite sturdy and well built.The only bad thing I can find is that even though it says 36 pairs, if you have shoes that aren't tiny you'll probably only be able to fit 2 per row, so it's more like 24-ish pairs than 36. Still a lot of storage space though.9/10

When buying this product, we considered many different issues: how it is supposed to actually work, how well will it mesh with our closets, how easy it is to assemble, etc.What we never even considered was just how poorly this thing would work. After having assembled it with relative it (took 20 minutes or so), we started testing it. Lo and behold, it was too big - wide, deep - to fit. We somehow fit it in the closet, though that meant we couldn't close it anymore.Moving on. We put the shoes on it - and here is what we learned:1. You can only put shoes on the bottom. If you don't make sure the weight falls almost exclusively on the bottom part - the whole thing will swing from the door and slam into it.2. You can only put about half the amount the product is supposed to hold. After that, it doesn't hold.3. If a shoe slipped - which would definitely happen, because this thing doesn't supply anything to stop shoes from slipping, you're done. You are never getting it out unless of course, you are ready to have all shoes falling on your head.In short, we'd very much like to return this item, if possible. It has been a waste of our money - and we're going to get another one anyway. It is not usable, and honestly just annoying to think we spent more than 5$ on.

Ahorra muchísimo espacio y le caben muchos zapatos. Ayuda a tener organizado el closet :)Viene en tres piezas pero es muy sencillo armarlas, yo sólo necesité un martillo de goma para que embonaran bien.Lo único negativo es que no queda perfectamente pegado a la puerta, por lo que tienes que "jugar" con las tres piezas buscando que con la combinación queden lo más derechitas posible y pegadas a la puerta; esto sirve para que los zapatos más delgados (por ej. sandalias) no se deslicen entre la zapatera y la puerta.Me gustó tanto que compré otro para un familiar.Ojo sólo sirve para puertas con un grosor máximo de 4 cm.

This was absolutely perfect for what I need and I LOVE it, but it may not work for everyone:CONSIt's bulky, it does stick out from the door quite a bit, so make sure you have the room to open your closet door and still have clearance.It does NOT fit my husband's (Men's Size 10/11) shoes at all. They flip right out of it and it's utterly useless for those (this didn't matter since this was purchased for my shoes, but I had planned to buy one for his and won't be doing that now)The bottom does come off the door a bit if there's not enough weight on it, but just make sure to either secure it to the door or weigh it down to keep it against the door.PROSIt really does hold 36 pairs of women's shoes. It's amazing. They fit well with enough space for boots on top and even some folded over boots on lower shelves - my mid-calf snow boots fit well on a lower shelf. It holds all of my heels perfectly (Women's 7.5) and even holds my sneakers and flip flops.Super easy to assemble! It took no time at all and I let my 2.5 and 5 year old help with most of it (they really did almost all of it themselves).Door hooks are thin enough to not damage the door or the frame, but definitely sturdy enough to hold the weight.It's versatile, you can have 2 pieces together and install the 3rd piece somewhere else or you can even put each piece in a separate closet. You'd need to order more over-the-door hooks or install each one using screws, but that's a huge plus. I decided to hang 2 pieces together in the bedroom closet and separate the third to use in the coat closet for shoes that are used more frequently.

Leider stimmte die Beschreibung mit dem Produkt nicht überein! Ich hätte es fest an die Tür schrauben müssen, darf ich allerdings nicht. Die Schuhe sind ständig durchgefallen.

Great rack for price. Assembly was simple and required a few minutes to sort through pieces and secure it together. Unless we use nails to secure it to the door - my husband used only two small nails to the bottom nail openings, which Whitmor did design this rack with - there is no way to keep this from moving - sliding side to side as we move the door and front to back, especially with shoes on it, which obviously arrange for shoes to collapse and fall through the back. So definitely need to be nailed in, however, nothing 2 tiny nails can't handle.The hooks that came with it were too thick and once installed, we couldn't close our door. I call Whitmor and they were very accommodating, polite and shipped two hanging hooks of the exact same color, size and quality, however, thinner and it is the best over the door hooks we've got as it truly doesn't touch the door frame when we close the door!This rack is hanging over our small laundry room and there's a wall that flushes half way beyond the door width. The other half is the opening to where our trash can and wall rack sit. This means that my husband's shoes must be placed over the half that stands by the wall opening! He wears 9.5 shoe size and his shoes fit in this rack but his large boots wouldn't. Our 9 y/o child's shoes and mine fit as well so this rack gives a good range as far as shoe sizes go but again, don't expect heavy duty large boots to fit in it. However, some of my soft leather boots fit because the legging is easily bent. I don't care to bend my boots leather leggings so found an alternative by hanging it with clips or hooks. Therefore, one can opt to attach separate hooks to hang shoes and other articles, such as fabric, rags, and even clean clothes in case extra shelves aren't used for shoes. We use the top poles to hang some wet clean rags. Some laundry hanging clips work fine in this rack poles, which makes this a multi-purpose item! I just wish the entire rack was metal! Nevertheless, the plastic parts are quite sturdy and are serving the couple purposes we decided to invest in this piece! Also, unless protected by rubber protectors, metal parts against wooden door wouldn't make sense. Sturdy Plastic has its advantages over thin metal, overtime rusting being an obvious one. I definitely recommend this, especially for those whose space is limited!
