Purchased two repeaters, so far both working well, took forever tho as the set up was in Chinese not English, tried to reset devices in hope English option available, thankfully have the written booklet with images helped lol use the booklet like a picture book.

Complete waste of my time. Would not stay on. When it does it runs on it's own SSID, you have to connect each device you want separately to it. Once connected it cut my speed down by more than half.

Very difficult to connect and only got 15 mbps download speed tops, even though my router in the same room puts off 500+ mpbs. The Amazon support section suggested I connect to the repeater’s network and update the firmware, but I followed all the steps and could not for the life of me connect to the repeater’s network again after I did it the first time upon setup. There’s one button on the unit and it did nothing when I pressed it or held it down. After spending two hours trying to get this stupid thing to work, I threw it back in the box and requested a refund. It’s possible I got a defective unit or something, but I’m gonna try to find a better quality option.

Not recommended. Just got it, set it up and it doesn’t act like a WiFi booster/extender, it acts like a totally separate network. It has its own SSID, so it’s not an extension of your existing WiFi like it should be. When I connect to it I can’t access the internet. It’s not worth the hassle of returning it for the $19 I paid for it so I will consider it a cheap lesson: pay a little more for something 1) of better reputation that 2) actually functions as advertised. Cheap garbage is what this thing is.

I bought this based on reviews, and I can't comprehend how this thing has 4.9 stars. After doing a little research, you can find the exact same wifi extender on Amazon with 3.0 stars. I followed the directions to get it connected multiple times and it'll connect but with no internet access.
