Just an amazing neck pickup. Do not let "Low Gauss Ceramic" scare you. This guy just oozes a fantastic Strat neck tone. You won't do better without spending a whole lot more money, and even then, it won't be very much better. Sounds great clean through heavily distorted and is a great partner to a solid middle pickup for the #4 switch position.

My early nineties squire II has never sounded better. I've gone through countless pickup configurations and brands with this thing. I kept going back to the seymour duncan in the bridge but have had trouble finding pickups to compliment it. These are spot on. They did end up being out of phase with the SD but that's an easy fix. Yes, these single coils have some noise but no different from anything else I've tried. Play in the 2nd and 4th positions and problem solved. I found that these are pretty sensitive when it comes to height adjustment. Once I got them all dialed in...so happy. Also, pickup covers from some random brand were a better match for color and the pole spacing was perfect. This guitar from my teens has turned into a beast I will never part with. I'm contemplating replacing the seymour duncan in the bridge with one of these. We'll see. Well done Wilkinson.

Installed this on my Yamaha Pacifica 012 on neck position and it sounds solid and produces more clarity. Not bad for an affordable pickup!
