My room is abnormally hot. We keep the house at 72, but I live with a 65 y/o lady, so I can’t drop it more than that. I needed to do something, and fast. The HOA won’t allow for window units of any kind. So my only option was a swamp cooler. What a complete waste of money. It does nothing. With or without the ice packs. And it’s still only early march. Literally don’t bother. At all.

Once the ice packs melt(within an hour) all it does is put moisture in the air making the room hotter. Not worth the money.
