I was looking for a way to hang up my string lights outside, and these hooks seemed like the perfect solution—and they are. They were super easy to install, and the safety buckle is a nice touch to keep everything secure. I've used them for a few weeks now, and they've held up perfectly, even with some pretty strong winds 💨. I've also used them to hang up some lightweight decorations, and so far, so good; I like that they are black, so they blend in well with the surroundings. I'd recommend these screw hooks; they're a simple, effective way to hang up anything from lights to cups; and I'm happy with the quality; they seem durable and well-made.

I am using these hooks to hang coffee mugs from. My mugs have a thicker handle so I needed a big hook. These are great for that, although they are a little longer than I need. It measures 2.25 inch. I have them screwed into the bottom of my kitchen cabinet. What I like about these is that you can remove the locking clip so it is just an open hook.

These are perfect for hanging things like string lights or small planters. I am using them outdoors, in wood, and they have held up well. They have been in for several months. The flat black finish still looks good. I pre-drilled and they went in easily. The clip at the open end securely seats anything put inside. I recommend this product.
