I've used this as a squeegee and not yet as an ice scraper. The build quality is very good, much better than I would expect at this price point. The squeegee 'blade' is a thick softish plastic wedge that looks and feels very robust. It's held firmly in place by three screws. The handle is high-density plastic. Because the 'blade' is thicker and stiffer than most squeegees, it takes a little more effort to use it as a squeegee, but it does work well; I've used it clean my car windows and some house windows and it works fine. I've always been a bit concerned about some of the hard plastic wedges used as ice scrapers and I'm hoping this squeegee/ice scraper might be less damaging.
