Item shreds like cotton candy. Not good for quilting projects and most sewing projects. It comes wrinkled and most of it is less in width than advertised. Burn test tells me it isn't fully 100% cotton. The only redeeming feature of this product is to use in toy making after you've shredded it.

This product is inferior to most battings. I would not put this in a quilt because it seems like it might bunch up and drift as it is washed. Most battings are sturdy enough to hold a shape, but I had much difficulty cutting this to shape because it shredded and clung to my scissors. IT is very thin and shreds easily -inferior to other battings I have ordered from Amazon, which is my go to source. I cannot recommend it to sewists for project sewing or quilting.

This is a lot of batting - I like it but maybe should have ordered medium weight! I doubled it and works fine! Thanks!
