There are 10 yards on a roll, so you can complete multiple projects with just one roll. Since it is needle punched, it can be quilted a maximum of eight inches between quilting lines. Weighing 4-oz. per square yard, it has just enough body to add dimension to your project. This batting can also be floated into all out in the hoop embroidery projects, too. This batting is microwave save in 2 minute increments, up to 6 minutes, when you pair with 100 percent cotton thread and 100 percent cotton batting. I use this product almost exclusively for my ME projects. Great loft and adds nice dimension to my stitch outs.Have been disappointed with the shipping though. Had to cancel one order because of delays and reordered. That one was also late but only by a day instead of the 10+ days.

I make lots of quilted placemats. This fits the bill perfectly. Standard placemats are 18” wide. There is no wasted batting, and less cutting. Always ready to start a new project.

I have used Gypsy Quilter batting (12 in wide) in the past and love it. This time I ordered the 18 inch width. It came tightly wrapped in a thick plastic almost like shrink wrap. It is badly wrinkled with the lines made by the plastic all the way thru the roll. I'm using this is in a quilt as you go poject for the sashing batting. I had to iron each piece so that it would be smooth and lay down nicely. Not happy. I never had this problem with the 12 inch wide product. I wont be buying this again.

This well made smooth flat batting that works great if you do a lot of machine embroidery that requires batting in the block.

I have used this batting before in the 12 inch wide size to make cozy bowls and loved it BUT this one is way too thin not the same thickness as the 12 inch. Not sure why I asumed it would be the same just a larger size. Very dissapointed!
