This will make a cute, and decorative knocker for your door. This is not made from full sized horse shoes. This is a cast ornament, though it is fully functional as a door knocker. It does include mounting hardware, but I think it is a little light weight and will use something else to mount the knocker. Overall I'm pleased with it.

Great for horse themed homes/barns etc. The shoes represented in this knocker are stated as iron and the weight for the size of this seems true. Not from repurposed shoes, rather forged/molded into horseshoes, although the overall size which fits in the palm of your hands make these more pony shoes than horse shoes.I don’t find knockers to be effective devices, so these make about as much sound as the other knockers I have. Meh for functionality, cute for decor.
