It really cuts down the project time and makes stripping wires so much easier. The tool is sturdy, works with multiple cable sizes, and does the job quickly. Definitely a must-have!

I am an electrician and I love this. I just pop it on my drill and can strip wires so fast. The twisting tool is a GREAT product, especially when you are trying to twist 3 or more wires and the "wire nut putter on er" ensures your wire nuts are nice and tight.

I tested on a couple of different gauge wires, and it does strip them easily if they're straight with a clean end. The tool is little fussy, and the cutter seems to lose the edge pretty quickly. (I noted the first cuts were better than subsequent cuts.)Mine came with an extra cutting blade, and of course you could repurpose the blades from the cutters you don't expect to use often. But it really feels like a DIY tool for a homeowner or other casual user, not a pro tool.

The machining quality of these pieces is excellent, with clean, sharp edges and a good weight. The wire strippers work astonishingly well. Strips quickly and cleanly with no damage to the wire. I tried the strippers on various pieces of NM-B 8#,10#, 12#and 14# gauge wire and it did a fine job on all.It makes twisting multiple wires together and/or into a cap a breeze that takes literally seconds while removing all of the frustration from it.You set stripping-length by moving the spindle more or less into the stripper head.Prior to purchasing in this kit, I had been watching videos that showed electrician tools like this one. These products had mixed reviews. It turns out I made the right purchase.These are good products. I like them.

I used it after watching a small video.the cutting pieces don't always cut well.i cut about 5 good wires out of 25.it won't even strip anymore.not sure if it's dull but it shouldn't be after only doing/attempting to do,a dozen wires.next was the wire twister.the video shows them putting in the 2 wires fully and pull trigger and it's completely twisted on tight and about 8 to 10 twists.i did it and it barely curled the wires around each other.not enough to walk away from.had to finish twisting by hand.i didn't even waste my time putting the wire nut bit in.it wasn't the cheapest and not the most expensive.i wouldn't waste ur money unless you observed the brand working properly and also watched for its durability.do the blades wear out in 10 wires?I won't buy another one.the hand held automatic strippers by Klein or craftsman would be a much better investment.very disappointed.
