I love this for my dog. He enjoyes getting his timely meals and snacks. I wish the instructions on setting this was a little more simple. Otherwise, it is a great product. I do recommend it.

Awesome tool for feeding my kitty all day. I love it. It's easy to set up and schedule the times. I bought extra ice packs to switch out to keep it cold longer.

This is absolutely a life saver for us! Our kitty has a hyperthyroid and even with meds, the past few months she has been waking me up all throughout the night wanting to be fed at all hours of the night. I was keeping extra food on my dresser so I wouldn't have to walk downstairs each time, but still not getting good sleep. I looked at many different models and read so many reviews and I didn't want to spend a fortune - especially not knowing if Kitty would be ok with it.Well, let me tell you...not only did she go to it right away, she now knows around the time the next feeding is and sits on top of it with anticipation. (She is appx 6lbs.) I'm thankful that there is the locking feature and the ease of use and ease of cleaning. It is super quiet and the beep to let Kitty know it's ready is not loud. I finally got a straight 6-7hrs of sleep again! SO glad I purchased this!! If you are on the fence about getting one - don't delay! It's a game changer and life giver! 🙂😻

Our big orange cat loves his house, but hates going to boarding. We previously had a feeder that would provide four meals so we could do 2 nights away. But a recent trip required we be away for 3 nights. Should be board the big boy? Or let him stay home?This feeder cost less than two nights of boarding, and let us set up our feeding schedule so Archie could stay home. This feeder could provide 5 meals, but we needed 6 to cover three full days away. So we set this to feed every 24 hours at 5 p.m.. Then we used the older feeder (a Cat Mate C500 that allowed up to 4 feedings) to open every 24 hours at 5 a.m. Voila! Meals on demand, every 12 hours for 3 days!Eventually, I'll toss out the less durable Cat Mate and get another one of these for the times we need more than 5 meals while traveling.NOTE: We increased the 'carry-over' time of wet feeds by freezing small cans of food, then dropping the frozen food into the timed feeder. Combined with the included ice packs, we could do two days of wet food before switching to dry food for the last day.

There is a button that says SAVE ( the settings) but when you press it you have to reprogram all the meal settings again and it has strange times vs the times you just set!! Grrrr. Yes too much money for something that doesn’t give you a secure feeling when you leave for the night if it’s going to work!

If wet food isn't eaten the first turn around, it does get moldy.

My 1 yr old cat has a high metabolism (long story how we found out), but, if he doesn’t eat a small amount of food every few hours, he throws up. So, rather than me getting up in the middle of the night, we opted to get an auto feeder. What a blessing!I love that this has 2 sets of ice packs. I switch in the morning and evening. My cat also prefers cold wet food, so I am happy it has the ice packs.But, the only reason I give it a 4.8 instead of a 5 is that it would be better to have two trays also, to wash one, while the other is in use. It would be nice if you could order additional pieces.I found a replacement tray from ipettie brand. It is the exact same one.Great product! Let’s me sleep and my boy eat!
