This little thing has made my life better. My older Accord has always been flaky with usb cables, and it's basically impossible to replace the stereo with the way it's integrated into the car. I've been using this a couple of weeks, and every time I get in the car, the WIRELESS CarPlay now works. It's one of those minor annoyances GONE from my life. There is a little more control/screen lag than using a wire, but I'm happy to trade that because it works consistently.

I've been having issues with the corded connection for my android auto. This was easy to install and get connected, and the connection is great! I have had perfect connection every time I've used it.

Works pretty much as expected although while it supposedly supports Bluetooth & wifi connections, you only connect via Bluetooth which will then also use the wifi connection if needed. There's no way to connect over wifi directly as it asks for a password which isn't given anywhere. And make sure your car supports CarPlay (or Android Auto) already, it won't provide those features to those that don't.

This works great with my Android Auto system and allows me to connect to it wirelessly.Now just to be clear, that's all that this device does. It allows you to do all the same things on your android auto that you can do if you were connecting via a wire. It does not add anything to that experience except the ability to not use a wire.You still need to use a USB port on the radio.Personally, I think the wired connection may have been more optimal because then you get charging while you're driving.

I have been waiting for a long time to get a wireless CarPlay adapter for our Sony stereo deck that used to be in our old minivan to put into the newer minivan we have now. I had no issue with using a USB cord to connect my iPhone to the stereo to get CarPlay, but the newer van is so much nicer that I wanted a clean wireless install. When I saw this pop up on my Vine feed, I was super excited and couldn’t wait for it to show up as I have been waiting a year to install this stereo into the newer van and have wireless CarPlay to boot.The installation of the device is just like any other USB device - plug it in and it powers up. I followed the directions to link it to both Bluetooth and WiFi, but it would not work at all with the Sony deck. My phone recognized both the Bluetooth and WiFi connections out of the device, but the deck does not recognize any signal coming out of the adapter and displays a screen that says “USB device not connected”.Thinking I may have either a hardware issue or an installation issue, I referred back to the instructions to look for a support line or email. Unfortunately, there is nowhere that shows a link to the company for support whatsoever on either the instructions or the packaging itself. Just a bunch of generic links for what CarPlay and Andorid Auto works with different cars from each developer’s website and a YouTube link to use YouTube on an Android device using Android Auto. I’m sorry, but that is flat out unacceptable!There is no mention anywhere about support for aftermarket stereos, so maybe this is my mistake. But when the phone works just fine with a cord and all over the instructions states to ensure your phone works with a cord to ensure it will work with this, well, what can you expect?!?Maybe I got a dud. Maybe it doesn’t work with aftermarket stereos. Who knows. All I know is I can’t use it, so back it goes!

The instruction sheet was clearly written for a different version of this device, as the Bluetooth device name is different from what is printed there, and contrary to the booklet you _do_ need a password for the WiFi connection (it is 12345678).Once you have BT and WiFi connected and projection enabled in your car, it works very nicely.

I took a chance on two of these, one to use for Android in one car and one to use for Apple in a nother (wife's car). BOTH worked out perfect! Im very happy with the purchase! They connect fast, once you set it up once, it recconets the next time you enter your car. By the time you start the car and do your seatbelt, its already on the screen. Its fast and performs like OEM. I love that I could just set it and forget it. Feels like its a feature that just came with the car. Love it!
