I've never used anything like this so can't compare to anything else. But very easy to install on new build home. It was easy, has held up very well to winter with snow, ice and sub-zero wind chills. Lost power briefly 2x but when power came back on, doorbell sounded to let us know it was working. Sufficiently loud, would definitely purchase again down the road if needed.

I needed both front door and back door buttons. No wireing required so it was easy. Both worked very well Arrived quickly and was better than I expected.

5 star product! Easy setup took about 10 minutes. Has chimes instead of musical concerts a plus for me.Door bell button enclosure has molded waterproof cover for inside of cover preventing water intrusion.This product is more expensive then other offers, but build quality and reviews justifies price.

Update: both receivers stop working every few months. Power cycling them by unplugging from the wall and plugging them back in restores functionality.**************Excellent range. Works out of the box. The lowest volume is still too loud for me in the bedroom, so I put a piece of tape over the speaker. The night light is an added bonus.
