This is a great flashing doorbell - especially if you are hard of hearing! In addition to this set of two, I bought a single receiver separately so I can have one in the living room, one in the bedroom and one on my desk. I installed the doorbell with the included double sized tape and since the receivers are battery operated there was no electrical to worry about. You can have the receivers stand alone and move them from room to room, or if you'd prefer, screws are included to hang them up. This is a GREAT purchase and nicely priced!! Finally, I am a happy camper!

I have had this door bell for a couple weeks. It works well and has quite a long range. One unit is at the front door and the other in the garage, about 200 feet away. The unit has many options for sounds and flashing lights. Scrolling through the 36 different tones is cumbersome because the scrolling can only go one way. You have to go through them all until you get back to the one you liked.

As a person hard of hearing, some tones can be heard better than others. I love how this doorbell can be installed or carried with from room to room. I like how there is a mute ring with lights only, and the loud setting can be easily heard across the room. Not to mention, there are tons of melodies to choose from incase some notes are easier to hear or if it's a holiday! I am so happy I bought this!

I was worried at first that the door bell was broken. .Come to find out, i had to open the little door bell piece that looks completely sealed. You will need to carefully pop off the cover with the enclosed tiny flat head screw driver they provide. Be mindful to ensure the tiny silicone seal is in proper place before snapping back together. Then my grown kdis suggested it search YouTube with the manufactures name and words wireless doorbell. Sure enouigh there was a video that showed me how to open the small door bell carefully with the small enclosed screwdriver that also came in the package. Keep in mind, there is a thin silicone seal where the two sides snap of the door bell plastic come together to ensure it stays waterproof. Make sure the silicone is in place before snapping back into place.Also its worth mentioning the doorbell is a 'touch' doorbell. .. there is nothing to Press hard, or to push in for that old familiar feel common with the older button doorbells. Gently touch it with your finger tip.. and go thru the actual push buttons on the sides of he receiver to turn the sound on, or just the option for just the lights to display w/ no sound! Just having the light flashing mode will be nice on days.Worth noting, make sure you clean the door or surface w/ isopropyl alcohol and dry well before using the double sided tape to adhere the doorbell.Overall, I am very happy with the product and i especially appreciate that both the bell and the 2 receivers do not rely on any electricity in order to use them! I quickly discovered that most other brands require an outlet to plug in the receiver. I love that both the bell and receiver use batteries... AND this seller provided batteries for each unit as well!i keep one receiver in the center of the home. and the 2nd one is kept by the back door so i can just grab it when going to the basement, the garage, outback to the garden, and not fear missing the bell for the service man that can show up anytime between 8am-6pm.Also love the option of setting either receiver to silent and how the colors flashes from the unit Really Bright instead of one of the many ring tones! This is a GREAT OPTION for the hearing impaired, elderly, anyone with a sleeping baby, or sleeping roommate that does the night shift!Really great features!!! HIGHLY Recommend!

YET ANOTHER UPDATE: This time we go from 5 stars to 1 star. A few weeks ago I changed the batteries. NEW batteries and used it twice before I am now having to REPLACE THEM AGAIN!UPDATEDED REVIEW: Months laterI WAS happy with them. But OMG do the batteries on these go quick. You will have to change out 3 AAA batteries on these things and I have 3. I am now beyond my return window.Original:If you use a headset. This is perfect. Just what I needed! Battery powered. Bright lights and loud. Love the fact that I can add more chimes or lights. I’m buying a second paire for just incase one of them dies

The fact that I do not have to plug any part of this unit into a wall is amazing. I hate when they say "wireless" or "cordless" and then they require you to plug it in. Well, this is COMPLETELY battery powered. They provide all the hardware to install (well, just mount really), and the batteries. The only part that was little annoying was that you have to open the device and SWITCH the receiver (the part that makes the noise) from OFF to ON. There was an actual tiny little switch you have to flip to turn it on. Remember you have to take the cover off, turn the switch on (tiny), and then start set up. Got one in the backyard and one inside the main house.
