I bought this for my security camera dvr system.My TV is on one wall of the house and my DVR for mt security cameras is on another wall of the house. This adapter has made my life 100x easier.I have not seen any lag for this device at all. It seems to work flawlessly.

Connectivity would go in/out. Extending laptop display to a TV about 10FT away. After 2 months, two separate units died. Waste of money.

Update:Stoped working in 6 month period of time, and 10-12 times of use.For it’s cost? Seriously?It’s a shame.Just got my new set off Edi transmitter/receiver. Connected RX to TV, TX to PC Yoga laptop. Tried to watch the movie on Samsung UN 7000 85 inches. Previously watched HD movies from Fire stick. Everything is fine. After connected.RX - TX Can see drop frames. Set up was extremely easy. The item is highly overpriced.

I set this up for dual monitors to my living room tv from my laptop for studying at night but it keeps dropping the connection. I’m about 10 feet away which really sucks.

Hello there,I've been looking for a solution to connect my home automation Mac Mini. I have a standing desk, and my Mac is beside this desk inside a tiny piece of furniture. While I can access the Mac above using a remote desktop session, connecting it to one of the monitors on my desk was desirable but inconvenient.Now with this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver, I can access my Mac from my desk using one of the HDMI ports on one of my monitors without the inconvenience of running an excessively long HDMI cable that goes up and down with my desk. It works flawlessly.While it is limited to 1080P and may not be great for high-speed gaming, it does work great in my particular use case.I hope you find this review helpful. Thanks for reading!

I bought this wireless transmitter/receiver for our travel trailer so we could reduce the number of wires.It arrived as shown - with a transmitter, receiver, two power cords (micro USB to USB, no box provided), and an HDMI extender cord.Setup is simple enough - it’s really plug and play. I plugged the receiver into the HDMI port on the back of my television, connected it to a power source, and then plugged the transmitter into my phone using an HDMI adapter (not provided) and connected that end to power as well. The firmware installed automatically into my phone and within a minute, was transmitting to my television. I did t run into any of the usual issues, and was able to stream everything I tried with clear pictures and sound.I’m really looking forward to using this in the travel trailer.My only issue with these are that they aren’t truly wireless - they need power. The receiver needs power while plugged into the television, and the transmitter needs power sometimes ?sometimes the device it is plugged into supplies enough power, like a computer. So while the computer (or phone) is no longer tethered to the television via an HDMI cable, it still may be tethered to a power source. This is such a great device, I’m not going to knock a star off for not completely reading the description before I purchased it.Long review short: a great device for a travel trailer or home! Needs power via a cord.
