All oil filters look the same from the outside, but whenever I come across a test of oil filters, Wix is always #1 or #2 in filtering performance. They may cost a buck or two more, but to me it is worth it.

I’ve used Wix oil and air filters for years but the auto parts stores have been getting pretty proud of them. I was happy to find that I can buy Wix here on Amazon at a more realistic price.

Wix filter have been around since I was a kid, they are well built and seal well, they do the job.

I have an '05 Subaru Outback Limited, and put this on myself. Not much to say about it - arrived quickly and in good condition, went on no issue, fairly easy to tighten down, has been filtering oil ever since, no problems.
