I am from Florida and took a trip to Colorado and needed warm clothes. I do not wear synthetic fabrics as they irritate my skin and reap havoc on the environment. These wool leggings kept me warm and fit wonderfully. They are not see though and don’t itch. I had a difficult time finding other leggings of this kind with such great quality, which makes the higher cost worth it. I know these will last a long time and because they are wool I can wear them when it’s hot or cold and still be comfortable.

Update 3/2024: Wooly reached out to me after reading this review and offered a full refund. That is extraordinarily proactive customer service- good on you, Wooly. Updating to 5 stars.I will be using that refund to buy either a new pair of leggings, Long Haul pants or maybe a cute, chic bomber/stand collar jacket as soon as they start making one :).Liked these when they first arrived. Green color is a nice neutral, the pockets are practical and they are not see through. They were a bit thinner than I thought they would be, but I could live with it. What I do not want to live with however, after paying $110 with tax plus another $15 for hemming, was the whole that ripped in the seam before the fourth wear.I have contacted the manufacturer b/c I am at 9 weeks past purchase, so no Amazon return allowed, but for $110, I'd like my pants to last more than 2 months. I will see if the manufacturer makes it right and will update the review if so.

Honestly pretty disappointed with these leggings. They are snug on ankles and easily sag around the butt/crotch. Constantly having to hike them up. And accidentally tore them in the process. Wasn’t expecting the fabric to be so fragile.

Loved these in black do I got them in peat in fall of 2023.XXL because I'm 5-8 and wear at size 18.Both black and peat ( more olive) were great under skirts, dresses and long sweaters for work. Great for travel because of the comfort and pockets. So a year later (Nov 2024) I had to darn 3 holes my peat leggins because I assumed my cats msking biscuits in my lap caught their claws. The peat pair is my more weekend kick around pair. But when i took them off last night, I noticed the flatlock seams at the crotch are pulling away. GRR! So these holes are not cat caused and since I'm down to a size 14/16, I know I'm not bursting my seams.I do have 3 v-neck sweaters, 2 T-shirts and the cowl-neck sweater from Wolley so I'm a fan.I'm disappointed about the seam. I'll fix it, rather than return it. However I expected these to go at least 3 or 4 years before the seams fail. I invested $100 in leggings expecting theses to last 5 to 10 years.

Very warm leggings that have been worn in single digit below freezing days. I like the very high wool content and 320g weight, smooth seams and gusseted crotch. They keep their shape even after several wears. They are not itchy at all. The large pockets are great also for phones, etc. Im normally between a small and medium in leggings but after trying them both the small fit better on these. I have several items from Woolly and they are becoming one of my favorite wool suppliers in terms of softness and comfort and value. I like to check the Woolly website and Amazon as sometimes the same item will be cheaper on one or the other.

These pants are see-through. That means I can't wear them as pants, only as underwear, even with the pockets. Also, I thought they would be warmer, being mostly wool. They're not warm. The quality is also not there. The seams have mis-stitches, and a few "globs" of thread showing on the nice scams, ruining the tailored look. They are comfortable, but thats about it. Would not buy again. Definitely not worth the price.

Waist has a nice small elastic band which doesn't cut into your stomach so you don't get the mushroom look. Side pockets hold a phone. The stitching on the side leg is flattering for a fuller figure. Wool is not itchy, but a supper soft but supportive fabric. These are not like wearing long johns which stretch when worn. These kept their shape everywhere. No intent in the knee or rear. It's like wearing a light weight (but not see through) yoga pant. Wore them doing yard work in WI north woods all weekend in 50's with rain. Never got cold and they seemed to resist the light rain. 5'6" 180 with a full bottom. XL fit perfectly.

It well made base layer, but wool a little itchy for fine merino wool. However it is a little too large in the waist which is sits just below my natural waste. Personally, I would prefer it to be a little loose than too tight. Because it was a little loose on me it didn’t stretch out to be see through so didn’t have that problem as other reviews mentioned. It is ok product for the price, but probably wouldn’t purchase this brand again.Update on my previous review: I have to give it one star. These leggings are incredibly itchy or a strange tingling sensation you feel after few hours of wearing them, by the end of the day all the sensation was so bad, all I can think of, how much I want to take them off, and I wear a lot of merino wool clothing from several other brand like ibex and Icebreaker without any problems. I washed them in wool wash with lanolin hoping they would soften up, but without any success. They also stretch a lot, enough so I can wear them on top another pair of leggings and still have a room. I guess I can still wear them on the top of another pair when it gets very cold. Dissapointing...Second update: I only wore these leggings few times last year since I found unbearable to wear on its own. I did tried one more thing before I put them away: I soaked them in hair conditioner for 4 hours. I put these on for the first time this season and I found that I could wear them. They were still a little itchy, but I could wear them despite the itchiness. Of course nothing beats merino wool thermoregulation properties.
