This salad bowl is absolutely beautiful. I look forward to using it on a regular basis!Pros:+The wood of this bowl is smooth and beautiful.+The scalloped edges give it an interesting look and offers a place for the spoons to rest.+I love that it came with the spoons to toss and serve the salad. Perfectly sized and feel great in the hands.+The size of this bowl is just the right size for my purposes.Cons/Critiques: none-this is a beautiful, functional bowl. It may even look good as a decorative item.

This set is exactly as pictured! It is gorgeous! It has a nice weight, but not too heavy. I love the thick scalloped edges! The bowl is roomy and the included utensils are the perfect size for tossing and serving your favorite salad!

I have always wanted a nice salad bowl to have while hosting family dinner. This is made with the utmost quality wood that will definitely stand up to often use. Having the utensils to go with it makes it extra special.In my opinion it is a good value due to the fact it resists stains and cracks and would not accidentally break like a glass one would. Cannot wait to use it!!

Truly, the photo does not do this item justice! This bowl is stunning, from the quality and weight of the wood to the beautiful scalloped edges and the overall design. It's so great that matching salad utensils are included. The bowl is very large, and I would expect it will easily hold salad for 6 to 8 people. I can't wait to sit back and hear the compliments when I host our next family dinner!

I can hardly think of a single bad thing to say about this salad bowl. It is beautiful, the artistic talent that went into making it is to be commended. The utensils that came along with it are a nice addition. The one thing that I wish did accompany it were instructions on how to clean it. Obviously not something you would put in the dishwasher, but a little detail on whether or not just to rinse it or whether to use soap would have been appreciated. I'm sure there's a You Tube video somewhere explaining it. Certainly worth the $40...5 stars
