The shaft is a bit small for a laguna lathe banjo and would not tighten.I put a small piece of metal flashing wrapping about 1/4 around the shaft.That worked perfect.

The post on this tool test is 63/64” and does not fit a Laguna lathe tool rest. I am returning it. It looks nice but does not fit my lathe.
