This is a fun staking number blocks visual matching training activity for young and older children alike. I got it for our grandchildren and they love looking at the cards and matching up the building design to the card itself. They learn how to pay attention to the details with this one. It's a fun activity for them all because it challenges them to build something with balance and matching the visual instructions. Lots of fun!

Great for Developing Number Sense! This set is perfect for helping young children develop number sense. I am using it with my 6-year-old granddaughter. We start by finding all of the different combinations that add up to 10, then we move onto a “coding” game. We take turns describing the designs on the provided cards, and see if the other person can build the same design without looking at the card. Of course, we add a twist to this: when describing where the new number is to be placed, the specific number cannot be mentioned. Instead, we say something like, “Take the number that is one more than seven and put it on the table.” I am also teaching my granddaughter to use these blocks to solve addition and subtraction facts. I do wish that the set included duplicates for the numbers 8, 9, and 10. However, not having those duplicates provides another opportunity to practice math. Need a second 8? Remember that 4 + 4 = 8, and use two 4s instead. My granddaughter enjoys working with this set, and I am happy to see how much she is learning from it.
