It is smaller than expected, and the metal is weak enough that it bent during use. But it did mash our guacamole!

Not sure what's meant by the handle can be inverted on the table, but this thing is supposed to be stainless steel. If it is, it's the weakest stainless steel I've ever seen. Trying to mash potatoes with this thing makes the whole tool flex, and if you run into some potatoes that aren't soft enough, it will physically bend the masher out of shape. This masher is the worst oneI've ever used, cannot recommend.

This is so stinking cute I can't even. I didn't know I could love a potato masher. Well done!(So far it's mashed well, though I mash stuff that's very well boiled)

This is sturdy and fits well in the hand. The handle is offset and well-designed to actually work. It’s nice for jobs where a full-sized masher would just be too much (single servings or ingredients to use in a larger dish).

This masher is smaller than I expected but I guess that's my fault because the ad lets us know the dimensions. It'd work good for smaller bowls but I usually end up making larger quantities of mashables and using this seems like more work than a larger masher would be. other than size, it works well.

Okay, let's not beat around the bush—this is more like a pet food masher than a potato or avocado masher. The steel is shaped like an animal paw, and there's another animal paw logo on the handle. I have not tried mashing potatoes or avocados—and it might be quite small and dinky for that purpose, anyway—but I do use it 2x a day for my cat's food! My kitty cat has an allergy and requires special food that comes in a puck/disk shape. The food needs to be mashed and diluted with water. Before this, I was just mashing the food with a spoon, which was actually quite uncomfortable and unwieldy at times... This pet food masher rocks!! It gets the job done in no time, and it doesn't cause a cramp in my hand. I love its size and how easy it is to use—and that it stand up on the handle! Since I do mash kind of hard, the steel does bend slightly out of shape at times, but I bend it right back. It's TBD how long this will last, but I am very grateful for it, as it has helped both my cat and me at food time. My cat also seems to appreciate that her food has a more uniform consistency! That's a big win in my book 😆.

Description reads "potato masher" but then goes on to state "small foods." I'm not too sure I'd take this to a pot of potatoes - it's strong enough, yes, but kinda small for such a task. Regardless ...It measures 5-3/8" tall. The mashing part is 2-1/16" in both directions. The arm is 1/16" thick x 1/2" wide steel - certainly adequate. The arm measures 3" long. The handle is 1-1/4" diameter at the top then tapers. It is 2-3/8" long.The handle is formed to give a good center of gravity - center of force - however you want to term that when pushing down.It's a great scale for small items. I like.Great price.
