wish the marking holes were JUST SLIGHTLY larger to fit maybe a dull pencil to make a darker line/ cricle

The pin does not fit the axis hole, so this is basically a paperweight.Also the holes for the pencil are so small that the lead of a regular carpenter pencil does not fit.Completely useless

Everything is great about this except the holes to put your pencil in. they are so small that the only thing that will fit is very thin lead of an automatic pencil. I fixed that with a drill bit though, turned a drill bit with my hand, just a single size bigger and it now works perfect

This is a nice tool that needs just a little help from mfg. The main knob goes from tight to sloppy with little free play for fine tuning.I thought the pointer would screw into the pivot point it does not, this requires attention I would rather devote to other parts of the layout.The hole for marking through are a very nice size, I think with more use it will replace my compass in most situations.
