I have only used this once, but what a differencee between this and the last one I bought. This one holds so well and has a number of different plates to use. Very convenient.

An amazingly good value. Of course if you will use it every day for the next 40 years you should get a Vicmarc instead. For most people this is a good package of chuck and jaws. The included spindle gouge requires a better handly, but that is a simple turning project.

I bought this for my Harbor Freight 8x12 mini wood lathe. Works great for drilling pen blanks, and turning cane knobs.

This chuck is actually excellent except you need two hands to tighten it. I keep banging my knuckles. It is also harder to chuck up something small because you need a third hand to hold the wood in place.

I bought this so I'd have an extra chuck to mount on my flat jaws. Works well. Said it comes with a t-handle hex driver but mine did not.

I have to fight it to open or close the jaws... I thought working it back and forth might loosen it up, but it didn't. Extremely poor quality, but hey, it was really cheap. You only get what you pay for, I guess. I will never be buying this brand again.
