Took a while for the cord to straighten out and had to adjust once, but this light looks classy and is perfect for the canned light over the spa tub. Really zhuzhed the tub area up.

We had standard can lights from the early 90s and wanted to refresh our entryway without hiring an electrician. This light fixture was incredibly easy to install and completely transformed the space. While some reviews mentioned problems with the cover not sitting flush on the ceiling, we followed the included instructions and haven’t had any issues with the fixture loosening. Additionally, after about 48 hours, the cord naturally straightened out.

Perfect solution for converting the harsh down-light over our fireplace, which we never used. The light was easy to install, overall. Though, I believe due to the weight of this particular lamp shade, we had a tiny issue getting the cover plate to cover the white ring of the recessed light. Once we would tighten the screw for the cover plate, the lamp's weight seems to pull it slightly out of position to one side. We attempted to adjust the cord, so it is positioned in the middle of the arm that the excess cord wraps around, and we have gotten it ALMOST perfectly positioned. On the whole, the light is just fantastic!

Elegant and very easy to install. I was able to assemble and install all 4 light fixtures in under an hour!!! Just wind the cord which is a bit stiff (which turned out to be a good thing) around the white bar, making sure your last wrap is in the center of the bar so the light is centered. They'll take any standard light bulb but the Edison bulbs really make a statement. I'm uploading a few pics of my new hallway. Honestly, these light fixtures were so much better than I expected. Thank you for selling such a great product!!!

I've looked for the perfect Instant Light to modify my recessed lights for a long time. I saw this light months ago and didn't order it right away. When I went back to order it was out of stock and I had to wait. Finally ordered 2 to install in my dining room area. The installation was quick and easy and they look BEAUTIFUL! I love the way it changes the whole look of the room!

Love these - instant conversion of ugly can lights into something out of an interior decorator magazine. Easy to install and makes any space look very stylish. The only downside is that wrapping the cord around the hook inside of the part that goes into the can can get a bit tricky since the cord is a bit stiff. Also make sure to finish wrapping it around the hook right around the center of it otherwise the cover will not line up with the can perfectly and make for a bad fit.
