These worked very good for my project,,,, range camera at 400 yards .

Super clear picture. I'm using it to transmit a high def camera on my fiberglass "meter boat" to my HPV goggles, haven't used the receiver yet but the transmitter channel tuning is great and crystal clear.

Since all the digital stuff is out of stock due to chip shortage, I went with this setup for testing. Never been into the whole FPV world. I got this to mount on an O gauge (3 rail) train layout, for fpv view. The TX gets toasty. Strap it to an alumn heat sink, or get a small fan to help dissipate some of the heat. Got some static as expected.Got a 2nd TX and mounted on a Axial Wraith and ran around the house while I sat inside. I did pick up an adapter that allows the composite connections to transfer the data via hdmi cable. Works well.

I used this for a remote observation camera. Works well with a generic camera and monitor (cut the provided connector off and soldered an RCA connector for composite input). The transmitter runs uncomfortably hot (so much this one cannot grab it - most of the heat comes from the back) - since I am running it for hours I mounted the transmitter on an aluminum heatsink and that solved the issue. The units remember the last channel used when powered on.The range is much lower when there is anything between the Tx/Rx units (as expected): where there are walls between expect only a 50 foot range or so (again, expected due to the higher frequencies).

Unable to get a stable image even at 10 feet. I tried many frequency even change antennas. At 20 feet, you get unstable picture and a very snowy picture. So we are far away from the 1.5 KM range. Also the transmitter becomes very very hot quickly! A vaste of money for me!

I use many of these for ship to shore video from a moving boat as well as from drone cameras. They work really well.But...While the specs say audio and video, the transmitter ONLY sends audio from the built in tiny electret microphone on the circuit board of the transmitter (and usually covered in heat shrink tubing making it near useless), NOT through the input cables. If you look at the third picture that shows the wiring you will see that there are two wires for power and ground to the transmitter and three wires that go to the camera. Two of the 3 wires to the camera provide power and ground TO the camera and the third wire is for video signal FROM the camera to the transmitter. You cannot transmit both audio AND video from a camcorder. Just the video. (it is technically possible to rewire things and provide an audio input in place of the built in microphone but doing so will certainly void any warranty).I have seen some reviews for similar transmitters that people say they quit or they got really hot... most likely because they hooked the power OUT from the transmitter to the audio OUT connection from the camera. Bad idea.

It’s been 2 days and it’s still working fine for me xd, you should run it on 2s (8.4V) Lipo battery if your using a 600mw 1000tvl camera, it won’t overheat as much the other reviews has discussed...

Transmitter died after first run. Flight was short for calibration purposes. Receiver works very well with little current draw. Purchased a more featurful mini transmitter 600 mw that works very well with this device.

I went to this transmitter since my old smaller tx fried its own wires. The gauge was very tiny and worked great for short flights but I flew it for an hour and the wires fried together. I saw the wires to this one are nice and thick and spread apart. I didn't pay attention to the size though. It is really big. Took a while to find a spot on my s550 to would work for it. I came up with just using an extension to put the tx in a good spot will running the extension to the antenna to a better spot. Works great and now I have easy access with good antenna placement.

The RX runs pretty hot! It seems to have issues with changing its mind all on its own. Sometimes I have to search out the channels again after turning it off and on again. Not sure if I got a lemon or what. When it stays on the right channel it does seem to come in pretty good. I have not tried to TX yet. I will update this review when I do.
