I was obviously a little worried that this wouldn't work since it wasn't the OEM cable but my Humminbird Helix8 recognized the mega live transducer with no issues with this adapter cable. The issue I have is that this is advertised as a cable for the Helix series but it doesn't fit in the multi-cable plug housing that plugs into the back of the head unit. The cable connector is correct but you'll need to trim the rubber molding to make it fit into the multi-plug that comes with the helix.
