Does exactly what it was suppose to do. Toyota charges an arm and leg for this. Gasket is quality. I put some extra sealant on it but I do not think it is entirely necessary. Filter was a match to the factory one and fit correctly as well. Running and shifting fine 1 month after install.

Saved big over the cost of dealer service. By changing the filter and draining the pan, most of the old fluid will be exchanged with fresh. Only the old fluid in the torque converter will remain. Several excellent you tube videos explain how to get the fluid level correct at 40 deg C (104 deg F). My local dealer claimed the CVT transmission on the Corolla was "SEALED" and the fluid never needed to be changed!
