I needed to add this to my Ford Maverick after adding a hood lift. The lift changed the pressure of the hood just enough it was difficult to open. This totally resolved the issue.

Had to drill holes on top of front grill , no place to mount on hood.. works well seems flimsy, but functions good on 97 JT Jeep.
