once i replaced the old lock with the new one i ordered from this company my trunk has been locked shut and i didn’t want to write a review until i knew if it was the lock or my car. turns out it was the lock. it isn’t compatible with the 2010 toyota corolla

This was a direct replacement for my broken trunk latch. After a few bolts and threading the new cable, my trunk latches correctly again. No fuss, no muss, and on my way.

The part fit perfectly in my 2009 Toyota Corolla. This is the perfect alternative to going to the dealership (which was going to charge 575 for the part and 180 in labour). All you need to do is undo the two 10ml bolts and the clip and swap it out for this part. Total time of under 5 minutes for a non-technical person to get the job done. Save yourself the money and frustration and get this part, it is by far worth it.

i had an issue that the trunk on my toyota CE 2011 opened itself when driving on a bumpy roadreplacing with this part totaly fix the problem 10 minutes fix!
