Fit perfectly on my 1993 Nissan D21. Old one was so deteriorated that the wiring harness housing fell apart. Easy replacement and back to having lights!

I just got a 1987 Nissan D21 (Hardbody). The battery kept dying because my lights kept randomly turning on in the middle of the night; even after purchasing a brand new battery. I purchased a kill switch, which worked by disconnecting the battery, however, that would erase all memory in my stereo. I read some blogs that suggested that this was a common problem with this truck - that the turn signal switch goes out, so I found and purchased this very turn signal switch. It was SUPER EASY to install and it has worked perfectly since! I recommend this.

As per most d21s the headlight switch goes out eventually, ordered one of these installed it and it works great my lights actually work now. Will update review if the product goes bad.

From the minute I took this out of the packaging it felt cheap. The feeling of the headlight knob is stiff and feels resistant like plastic scraping together instead of gently sliding. Ok I can live with that. The headlights, brights, and turn signals work fine, but the switch feels just not as smooth as the original. Ok I can live with that. After a few hundred uses I hope these things would "break in" and feel better. Now just after the return window has closed, the left ( downward ) signal no longer cancels when the steering wheel is turned back to center straight. I had this problem on the previous el cheapo from Evilbay but that one cost 5 bux. Both are the same junky cheap quality. Don't buy. Buy the Beck/Arnley one instead. It cost twice as much but Beck/Arnley is a well established brand and makes good parts.
