The product came in better condition then it was listed so I was very happy with that! My fiance loved it as his birthday present so that also made me very happy!

As soon as my son opened his christmas gift he instantly stopped playing with all the other toys and went to play the game system on his new controller. He was so happy that he had his own. After being dropped several hundred times the controller is still working good. I am impressed with not only the craftsmanship but the design. Every now and then I catch my son just staring at the picture of the controller in amazement. I believe there should be more designs like this one on the market.

WHEN THE CONTROLLER CAME IN THE MAIL I LOOKED AT IT AND REALIZED THAT INSTEAD OF A REGULAR BATTERY IT CAME WITH A PLAY N CHARGE ONE. AND I DONT HAVE A PLAY N CHARGE CABLE SO WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO... OTHER THAN THAT THIS A GREAT CONTROLLER BUT NOT WORTH THE PRICE THERE ARE OTHER GREAT CONTROLLERS OUT THERE THAT LOOK BETTER THAN IT AND ARE CHEAPER...

This is your basic 360 wireless controller with a nice graphic cover. I paid $5 more for this controller versus your basic black, worth it. Caution if your buy the convenant controller, it came from a different company and has cheap internals (shuts down randomly).

This is the default Xbox 360 wireless controller with some awesome Halo 3 artwork slapped on.This is an excellent edition to any Halo 3 fan's collection, however, one must note that the controller itself is more of a "show-off" item rather than an actual game playing one.The top plate of the controller has a smooth, glossy finish with the back side being of a normal matte finish, like the regular controller. The problem I have with the controller is that the glossy finish gets in the way of intense gaming. Sweaty hands may create a slippery or sticky surface, especially after long hours of gaming.I recommend this controller only for diehard Halo fans, but not the regular and/or hardcore Xbox 360 fan. Any other game player should stick to the default Xbox controller. From Xbox Live gamer, "Really Unlucky".

When it comes to Xbox 360 controllers there are no controllers out there that are as eye catchingly beautiful as these Todd McFarlene drawn Halo 3 controllers. The glossy smooth surface of the controller is a sheer joy to hold and the thumbsticks (provided it is new) are tight and precise provided that the controller is not abused. And by abused I mean anything short of dropping a freight train on it (my Fiancee's brother in law fell off a chair and landed on it with his rear and nothing happened to it.) Aside from its beauty, the controller is extremely well built, there are no connectivity issues and there are no problems using this remote and three other wireless remotes at the same time with your 360. A must have for die hard halo fans!

What's with the extra tiny button for synching the controller to the Xbox? Why do other wireless devices succeed without this button? Why does the PS3 wireless controller have nice re-chargable batteries that charge off the USB port, and this one doesn't? Inquiring minds want to know. The size is nice though. I still think the is the best controller ever, end of discussion, and I'm trying to build a setup to use this controller with Xbox 360. Hopefully it will work.Sincerely,Ira Carmel.

The controller is fine, but I cant use the plug and charge kit. Yes, its the one by microsoft for the xbox360. It only works for my original white controller. So what I have to do is take the battery out at the end of the day put it back in my old controller charge it and put it back to the halo controller after its charged. So I guess its fine if you dont use that kit otherwise its kind of a hassle.

The Halo 3 Spartan Controller is definitely a good buy. If I was given another chance to buy one, I'd buy one. The controller itself is no different from a normal Xbox 360 controller, with the slight exception that the top surface is smooth with a beautiful decal on it. The controller feels better than the other 360 controllers (I own 2 wired, 1 wireless white, 1 wireless green, and both the Halo 3 limited edition controllers). Because of the smooth surface, you have extra grip when playing your 360 and the decals will make any of your friends look at it. The last plus thing with this controller is you get a nice nifty little Spartan figurine of Master Chief. The doll itself is rather solid, not exactly the cheap inexpensive hard weak plastic. So whether you're buying it for collector memorabilia or because you think it looks cool, it's worth the extra 10 bucks.
