This Xbox One controller battery kinda works, but the setup is super annoying. It charges the battery, sure, but only through its flimsy plastic stand; you can’t just plug a Type-C cable into the controller itself to charge it, which feels tacky. I was expecting plug-and-play, but instead, you have to swap out the controller’s back shell for the one they include (which feels cheap) and rely on their stand. The base itself feels like dollar-store plastic, and honestly, it’s just clunky.If you’re cool with all that hassle, it’ll keep your controller powered. But for the price and hoops you jump through? Just grab the official Microsoft battery pack. Save yourself the embarassment.

So I’ve only had this for about a week, but so far it’s worked well. The batteries seem to hold their charge for an appropriate amount of time.Right out of the box it was not what I expected. It’s very small- which is great if you’re looking to not take up space, but I was just surprised. It comes with a charging base, a cord to plug it in (it is a USB to USB-C), two batteries, and four battery covers. The box alludes to two black covers and two white covers, but mine came with four black covers. You must use the covers with the batteries in order to charge them on the base. Batteries fit into the controller. Well, as due the provided charge covers. You cannot charge the batteries without the controller. It’s a little clumsy when you first try to put the remote on the charger, but it does have illuminated pictures of two chargers to show you if it’s charging a dead battery.Overall it works well so far. The batteries seem to hold a charge for a while (played several hours and left the remote on the floor and the battery was still fine). The cord to plug in the base is short so you will likely need to plug it into the Xbox.

This charging station arrived super quickly and works beautifully! Comes with the charging dock, to rechargeable battery packs, two backs for the Xbox one controllers, and two backs for the Xbox series s controller. The backs fit perfectly and are labeled clearly so there is no confusion, and they align with the battery pack perfectly so it's able to make contact with the charging ports on the dock. Really cool design, you can either place this on top of or next to your Xbox, and easily plug it in via the USB cable that is attached to it. There are two little controller lights on the front of the charging dock that will turn red as your controller is charging and then turn blue once it is fully charged making it super easy to decipher what your battery level is. Considering what you are getting and the fact that you will not have to buy batteries anymore makes this an amazing value and I cannot recommend this enough, especially if you are a hardcore daily gamer like myself! Awesome awesome awesome!

This Xbox Controller Charger Station is seriously cool — the design legit looks like a little black spaceship sitting on my gaming desk, and I’m here for it! We had battery packs for our controllers but my Mom bought my son a slightly smaller grip one so they could play Minecraft together and our old battery packs for controllers did not fit that one. So I bought these and not only did it fit my controller which came with the xbox but it also fit my son's controller. His is not a child size, just has different grips. What impressed me is this also has four backs. You have to have a new back with battery packs to let the charge connection come through. This one had two sets of different kinds (see picture) to fit different controllers. The plug fits my xbox one and the battery charging station has two tiny controller shaped lights that light up red as they charged. I thought that was probably the cutest part of the whole thing. Overall impressed with the station, battery packs, and options of covers for back of controllers.

It took me a little while to figure out how to connect the controller to the charging station and install the batteries, but overall, it's fantastic, and I absolutely love it. The battery life is impressive; it lasts a long time, and it charges at a decent speed, not as fast as my Beats headphones, but definitely better than a regular phone charger.

One of the drags of the Xbox series S and series X controllers is that they use AA batteries. I was constantly running out of batteries with these things even if I use the lithium high-powered ones. This product solves that problem it has a super high-powered high capacity battery and you pop it in and put a special door on the controller that has conductors on it that allow it to go upside down in this contraption and charge. It charges super fast and the batteries last a long long time. Super great product!
