I test headlights for a living.The reason for the flickering others complain about is a phenomenon called arc wander or arc dance. Due to misalignment between electrodes of about 0.6mm that I found before beginning testing.HID bulbs of this size do not rely on magnetic fields to stabilize the arc, instead they rely on the AC current being fed to the bulb. This ballast is not AC.Here's the numbers: (Fields marked with an * are expected to vary between real world conditions)Color TemperatureExpected: 5,000K Got: 4,960KBrightness (lumen) *1,300Beam Control (how well can the bulb reproduce the original)6/10 Avoid using in reflector headlights.Longevity *Untested, specimen too young. This item works great on my car I have a slight issue with one of my bulbs not sure if it’s a bad ballast or a bad bulb but one of my hid lights is flickering other than that the light output is great better then oem lighting

Installed on my 2016 honda accord! Easy plug in! The metal ballast are Better than other products on market. I had other brands with plastic ballast and they melted from the heat of the engine components.

I went with this brand as I've used them for five different vehicles in the past and was extremely pleased with everything. Especially the brightness, as I was stationed in what seemed to be in areas that had poor lighting at night. Any, I order a set of lights just to find out they don't work. After having to take the front bumper and headlight assembly off because that's how dump Ford is. I find out the lights don't work. Then I get another set sent out. Which I have to say Amazon was helpful with that, but the second set flickers. Now my days off from work gone and I still don't have any working lights. I can't recommend this brand to anyone. Especially for the people that have to go through a lot to change the buld, like I had to with the bumper light assembly removal. So if you have a Ford focus this is for you...

The kit arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. Installed HID set and unfortunately had a bad ballast, these things happen from time to time. Immediately contacted Xentec and Amazon customer service, a new replacement kit was sent out by Amazon. Leo from Xentec also had followed up with all questions and inquiries very rapidly. It took 5 days for the replacement to show up not a biggie for me. Installed replacement kit, it’s exactly what I ordered. Great illumination, excellent color and well manufactured. 7th kit over the years and not the last, great product at a reasonable price. Would recommend for budget HID setup option rather than super expensive factory set. 2010 WRX

Used this particular brand on several of my vehicles. Very good product and ballast seems to last the longest. Be advised they are not defective if they don't light , that they will not operate correctly on all vehicles without the additional relay harness required.
