Why does textile paint seem thin?

  • Textile paint is typically designed with lower viscosity to penetrate fabric fibers easily, ensuring better adhesion and uniformity. Paint that is too thick may not penetrate effectively, leading to uneven coloring or peeling. If you require higher coverage, we recommend applying multiple thin layers or using a thickening agent to adjust the consistency.

Why does textile paint fade after washing clothes?

  • Textile paint may fade due to incomplete curing, unsuitable fabric, improper washing methods, or insufficient water resistance of the paint. We recommend the following steps:

  1. Allow the paint to dry completely and use an iron or dryer to heat set it.
  2. Use fabrics with good absorption, such as cotton or canvas.
  3. For the first wash, use cold water and a gentle detergent, avoiding vigorous scrubbing.

Why does textile paint bleed and perform poorly on dark fabrics?

  • Bleeding may occur due to high fabric absorbency or thin paint. We recommend using less paint or applying a primer. Poor performance on dark fabrics may be caused by insufficient opacity; try using high-opacity paint or applying a white base coat first.
