The XLUX T10 Moisture Meter tells you, instantly, whether your plants need water. With this meter, you will know that sometimes though the top of the soil looks dry, just beneath the surface it's very wet--no wonder the plants are struggling.
Step 1:
Insert the probe into the soil about 2-5 inches
Step 2:
Adjust the probe until the pointer swing slightly
Step 3:
Note moisture value in the dial after reading stabilizes
Step 4:
Remove the probe from soil and wipe clean after use

This meter instantly reads the soil moisture at the tip of the probe and does an excellent job in this application. It does not work well as a continuous-read meter by leaving it in place in a pot, because the reading gradually moves toward a drier reading than the pot average. If you move the probe you immediately get a higher reading. I suspect that this is because the probe's presence results in drying the very location where it measures.

I recently got the XLUX Soil Moisture Sensor Meter for my gardening, and it's been pretty interesting and easy to use. It does its job well, giving accurate moisture readings, which helps me keep my plants happy. For the price, it's definitely a decent buy.The sensor is straightforward and user-friendly, making it simple to check the soil moisture levels quickly. It’s been a helpful addition to my gardening toolkit, ensuring my plants get the right amount of water.However, it does feel a bit cheap to the touch, and I'm concerned about its durability. It seems like it could break easily, especially when cleaning off the dirt after use. Despite this, it’s a good value for the price and does what it’s supposed to do. Just handle it with care!
