it fit my 991.1 GT3 fine. For some reason it's Left Hand Thread (like it really matters on a tow hook), but once i figured that out fit and looked fine. First time on track when I got back the "hook" part was gone. apparently the hex bolts holding on the hook vibrated out and it was gone. now all i have is a tow rod.

Item came with small dents and scratches, exposing bare metal, but most importantly, does not fit 2017 911 (991.2} correctly. Only screws in about 2 to 2.5 turns, and comparing to OEM tow hook, it's easy to see why: the threading looks to be the wrong size. Save your money and get the Rennline one.

This isn’t worth your time. The thread pattern wasn’t correct for my Porsche. I could have forced it to fit, but wasn’t going to compromise the threads. Better off spending the money for a quality product.
